Four common tractor faults and their solutions

Tractor as one of the important equipment of agricultural machinery, in the daily use of the process will inevitably encounter some common failures. The following will introduce several common tractor failures and the corresponding solutions.

Four common tractor faults and their solutions

Faults1. The engine can not start.

Reason: It may be insufficient fuel supply, ignition system failure, insufficient battery power and other problems.
Solution: First check the fuel supply to make sure there is enough fuel in the tank. Then check the ignition system, including spark plugs and ignition coils, etc., to make sure they are working properly. Finally check the battery power, if the power is insufficient, it can be solved by charging or replacing the battery.

Faults2. The engine runs erratically.

Cause: It may be unstable fuel supply, clogged air filter, faulty ignition system and other problems.
Solution: First check the fuel supply line to make sure the fuel supply is smooth. Then check the air filter, if found clogged, you can clean or replace the filter. Finally, check the ignition system to ensure that it works properly.

Faults3. Difficulty in driving the tractor.

Cause: Clutch failure, transmission failure, drive shaft failure and other problems.
Solution: First check the clutch to make sure it is working properly. If the clutch is found to be slipping or unable to disengage, it can be adjusted or replaced. Then check the transmission, if it is found that the gear shift is not smooth or cannot be shifted, you can check the transmission fluid quantity and fluid quality, and repair accordingly. Finally, check the driveshaft to make sure it is connected properly and not loose or broken.

Faults4. Air leakage from tires.

Cause: It may be tire damage, valve failure, insufficient tire pressure and other problems.
Solution: First check the tires for obvious damage such as punctures or ruptures. If tire damage is found, it can be replaced or repaired. Then check the valves to make sure they are working properly. Finally check the tire pressure, if the tire pressure is insufficient, you can increase the air pressure through the inflator pump.
In short, the tractor will encounter some common faults in the process of use, but as long as the timely discovery and take corresponding solutions, these faults can be quickly resolved to ensure the normal operation of the tractor. At the same time, regular maintenance and repair is also an important measure to prevent failures, which can extend the service life of the tractor.
